Virtual Reality(VR) Treatment

How it Works

Who is it for?

Who is it for?

Gentle & guided support with facing fears and learning to handle sources of anxiety. VR can also help cancer patients feel less nervous and more prepared for treatment. VR therapy allows the therapist to provide an immersive experience to increase distress tolerance in clients.

Each Client has Unique Needs...

The staff at HELP for Parents work to understand the unique needs of each individual, couple, and family. Clinical treatment goals are always created in collaboration with the client & when applicable, the caregiver. We use the following approaches to work towards meeting those goals.

Individual, couple & family sessions are offered in-person, online & in some cases, in the home of the client. Many insurance plans cover telehealth & in- office sessions. Most private insurance plans do not cover in-home sessions. Life Coaching is available to residents in all states. Proof of residency is required for all services. (see below for more information)

*All clients will be encouraged to set up an account in the secure client portal. This will allow us to communicate confidentially in between sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance. (see "fees" page for link to patient portal)
